CocoCraft Edition A new twist on coconut leaves
CocoCraft is made from dried, fallen coconut leaves — leaves that would otherwise be burnt or left to waste. Dried and shaped into straws, the leaf's own natural water-resistance means there's no wax or plastic coating needed.
- Made from
- Dried coconut leaf
- Breaks down
- At home in 8-12 weeks
- Sturdy
- Stays in drinks for 4+ hours
What it is
From fallen leaf to a straw.
Coconut leaves fall and dry naturally, and are often burnt as waste. CocoCraft collects that dried leaf instead and shapes it into a straw.
- Fallen leaves Dried coconut leaf, collected rather than burnt.
- Cleaned & shaped Rolled and formed into straws — no chemicals or coatings.
- Straw Naturally water-resistant, ready for cold or warm drinks.
- Soil Breaks down after use, with nothing synthetic left behind.
Why it’s better
How CocoCraft performs in a real drink.
- Naturally Water-Resistant The leaf's natural wax helps resist moisture.
- No Added Chemicals in the Process Chemical-free manufacturing.
- Multi-Layered Construction Designed with multiple layers for a sturdy drinking experience.
- Sturdy enough to sip Doesn't collapse or split the way paper straws often do.
CocoCraft Edition vs. what’s sold as “eco”.

After use
What happens after the drink.
Animation: over 180 days in compost, CocoCraft Edition breaks down (in 8-12 weeks) and a plant grows from the soil. The plastic next to it is unchanged.
- Rinse off any leftover drink. A quick rinse is enough — no need to scrub.
- Compost Put it in home compost or the wet-waste bin.
- Let the soil do the work It breaks down into soil-safe matter.
CocoCraft Edition, answered.
The leaf is naturally water-resistant, so it holds up through a normal cold or warm drink without any coating. Very prolonged contact with boiling-hot liquid will soften it faster, same as any natural-fibre straw.
Our packaging is compostable, although the type and conditions vary by the product. Some are suitable for home composting, while others required industrial composting. We focus on practical, accessible alternatives to conventional plastic – choosing better materials today, while continuing to push for better options.
It depends on the item and on custom printing. We’ll share exact quantities for your range during the consultation.
