Industrial compostable
After-Brew. Reclaimed Coffee, Reimagined.
Every espresso shot leaves behind coffee grounds that usually go to waste. The After-Brew Edition reclaims them by collecting and blending them with agricultural waste and biopolymers. They are then moulded into straws and reusable cups.
- Made from
- Used coffee grounds, Agricultural Waste & Biopolymers
- Breaks down
- 12-24 Weeks (Industrial Composting)
- No-Soggy
- The straws have been tested to last for 4+ hours in drinks.
What it is
Caffeinated Straws. Coffee in Caffeinated Cups.
Coffee grounds are a by-product every café throws away. That waste then becomes a raw material, is bound with agricultural waste and bio-polymers, and then moulded into Cups & Straws.
- Spent coffee grounds Collected from cafés instead of going to landfill.
- Agricultural Waste Rice & wheat husk blended in for strength and structure.
- Bio-polymer binder Holds the mix together and moulded under heat.
- Moulding Moulded into straws & cups, that tell a story.
Why it’s better
Coffee in its DNA. Performance in its nature.
- No-Soggy Sips Tested for performance for 4+ Hours, so the straw doesn't give up halfway through the drink.
- Odourless No strong odour or taste of the coffee will be felt in the straw.
- Size for every sip Available in 4 different diameters, for every use-case.
- Re-suable The Cups can be washed and are meant to be re-used..

After use
What happens after the drink — for the straw.
- Tip out any leftover drink. A quick rinse is fine if you're holding onto it.
- Send it for composting If you have access to industrial composting facilities, send it there. If not, cut it into small pieces and put it in your home compost bin.
- Keep it out of recycling bin Compostable materials often contaminate recycling streams.
